STIT – Sejumlah mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) kembali mengadakan acara peringatan Hari Bahasa Arab Se-dunia (HABA) ke-2 di PTI Al-Hilal Sigli, Pidie pada rabu-kamis (18/19/2019).
Serangkaian perlombaan mengisi acara tersebut, termasuk pidato Bahasa Arab, Puisi Bahasa Arab, dan nasyid islami.
Ketua panitia (Zulbahri) mengatakan acara ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk membudayakan Bahasa Arab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai bahasa umat islam.
“Kami ingin memperkenalkan kembali keberadaan Bahasa Arab sebagai pondasi khazanah kebudayaan islam. Bahasa Arab merupakan bahasa orang islam” paparnya.
Acara bersejarah itu diikuti oleh sejumlah mahasiswa jurusan lain, siswa tingkat aliyah, dan masyarakat. Duta Wisata Pidie juga ikut memeriahkan acara tersebut.
Kemarin, acara peringatan Hari Bahasa Arab Se-dunia ke-2 diresmikan langsung oleh ustazah Cut Keumalawati. MA selaku ketua prodi PBA.
