SIGLI, AL-HIAL 20 Agustus 2023
Perguruan Tinggi Islam Al-Hilal Sigli, Yang Terdiri Dari Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Syari’ah Dan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah, Kedua Sekolah Tinggi Tersebut Masing-Masing Mempunyai Tiga Program Studi, Syariah terdiri dari Program Studi Hukum Ekonomi Syari’ah, Hukum Keluarga Dan Hukum Pidana Islam, Sedangkan Tarbiyah terdiri dari Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) dan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI). Kegiatan penjaringan mahasiswa baru dilakukan dalam lingkungan Kampus Perguruan Tinggi Islam Al-Hilal Sigli Pada Tanggal 20 Agustus 2023. Dengan jumlah peserta test calon mahasiswa sebanyak 200 orang, jumlah tersebut tersebar dalam enam program studi yang tersedia.
Abdul Manaf, (ketua Panitia penjaringan) menyatakan bahwa Animo calon mahasiswa tahun ini untuk masuk Perguruan Tinggi terlihat lemah, kelemahan Animo calon mahasiswa pada tahun ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, terutama lulusan perguruan tinggi yang sudah tersebar dalam berbagai gampong sulit untuk memperoleh pekerjaan, itu menjadi pengalaman buruk bagi masyarakat dan sekaligus bagi sebagian lulusan SLTA dan menjadi faktor penghambat dalam melanjutkan studi kejenjang yang lebih tinggi, disamping itu keterbatasan orang tua dari calon mahasiswa dalam mengakses sumber-sumber pemasukan, belum lagi tingkat kesusahan dalam memenuhi biaya hidup, harga barang kebutuhan pokok yang tinggi, maka menjadi suatu kesimpulan sementara bahwa keterbatasan ekonomi yang dimiliki oleh kepala keluarga mendominasi penyebab rendahnya animo lulusan SLTA untuk menempuh studi lanjut, disamping keterbatasan ketersediaan lapangan kerja bagi lulusan perguruan tinggi, hal ini, bak gayung bersambut, pada dasarnya minat orang tua dan minat calon lulusan dalam melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi masih ada, akan tetapi kedua faktor utama tersebut, sehingga minat dan animo calon mahasiswa menjadi rendah, namun demikian masih ada orang tua wali mahasiswa dengan penuh semangat dan senang hati mendampingi buah hatinya untuk ikut penyeleksian hari (kata Dr. Tgk. Bukhari)
Kita coba menoleh kebelakang dalam beberapa tahun yang lalu, animo orang tua dibarengi dengan kemauan calon lulusan SLTA sangat sinergis untuk menempuh jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, apa lagi banyak orang tua lulusan SLTA yang punya wawasan kedepan dan menganggap pendidikan itu suatu investasi yang tak ternilai harganya, dan kemauan lulusan SLTA untuk merubah kondisi kehidupan dirinya sangat tinggi, hal ini dibuktikan pada saat para dosen dan Civitas Akademika Perguruan Tinggi Islam Al-Hilal Sigli terjun langsung ke sekolah, Madrasah bertemu langsung dengan calon lulusan dan melakukan wawancara, sangat terlihat dari wajah mereka dan untaian kata yang disampaikan untuk menuju suatu perubahan sosial terhadap dirinya.
Materi test yang dilakukan terutama pengetahuan umum, pengetahuan Agama Islam, dan yang sangat penting adalah test membaca dan menulis, serta yang tidak kalah penting test kemampuan baca Al-Qur’an.
