Mahasiswa sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Al-Hilal Sigli mengadakan pengabdian dan bakti social (baksos) Ramadhan di Gampong Barieh, Kecamatan Mutiara Timur Pidie. 30 Maret sd 8 April 2023. Acara bakti sosial tersebut berlangsung di gampong Barieh.
Dalam bakti sosial kali ini turut hadir diantaranya Dr. Syarifah Rahmi, Lc. M.alcom, selaku ketua STIT Drs. Abdul Manaf, M. Pd Ketua I, Mustafa, MA selaku Ketua III Bidang kemahasiswaa STIT Ketua Prodi PBA Cut Keumalawati, MA Dr. Rusnawati , MA Ketua Prodi PAI dan Gusti Handayani Ketua Prodi PGMI, Dr. Bukhari, MA, Rahmat Fauzi, M. Ag, Nasri Diana, M. Pd selaku Sekretaris Prodi dan dosen STIT, Acara bakti sosial ini juga diramaikan dengan kehadiran anak-anak digampong setempat, anak yang merupakan peserta lomba yang dilkukan oleh Dosen dan mahasiswa STIT Al-Hilal selama pengabdian dilokasi yang hadir dalam acara bakti sosial Ramadhan tersebut.
Acara bakti sosial Ramadhan tersebut merupakan bentuk kegiatan rutin dilakukan mahasiswa dengan dosen prodi STIT sebagai pengabdian bersama pada masyarakat yang dilakukan tiap Ramadhan bersama dosen. Sehingga acara bakti sosial ramadhan tersebut bisa terlaksana.
Pada bakti sosial tersebut, bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah berupa sosialasi program kampus, ceramah agama, tadarus Al-quran/ tahsin, pengajian, gotong royong dan perlombaan MTQ. Dalam sambutanya, Tgk Khairizal selaku Ketua Pelaksana bakti sosial Ramadhan ini menyampaikan “ Semoga bakti sosial ini dapat berguna, dan apa yang kami lakukan bisa bermanfaat untuk masyarakat gampong dan anak-anak sebagai tanggung jawab kita bersama dalam menjaga generasi yang islam.” Ungkapnya yang disampaikan pada acara pembukaa bakti sosial.
Bakti sosial yang dilakukan juga guna menumbuhkan jiwa sosial dan kepedulian di kalangan dosen dan mahasiswa terhadap masyarakat umum. Sesuai dengan arahan yang diharapkan oleh bapak Mustafa, MA dalam sambutanya mengatakan “Tujuan melakukan pengabdian dan baksos Ramadhan ini adalah untuk silaturahim, sekaligus melaksanakan bakti sosial dimasyarakat untuk datang dan turun langsung ke masyarakat melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa untuk melaksanakan bakti sosial di tempat yang tepat. kegiatan Baksos ini diadakan sebagai bentuk upaya para dosen dan mahasiswa dalam mengenal kehidupan di masyarakat, disamping itu mereka dituntut untuk melatih dan mendidik masyarakat tentang ilmu yang telah mereka dapatkan di kampus. Kami ingin menunjukkan bahwa kami selalu hadir untuk pendidikan dan masyarakat. (MF)
